Buddha's Wisdom

Buddha once said, "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned."

This is so true, but it is SO hard to let go of things sometimes. Has something ever happened, or someone treated you so badly that all you can think about is the anger you have towards that person?

I have been burned in the past...more times than I can remember. But I have allowed myself to forgive and forget all but a few of them. Somethings just seem too horrible to be forgiven. I know it's not healthy to continue holding on to all this anger, but I just can't let it go!!!

Only time can tell if I will ever be able to let it go...and I hope it's soon.

My Baby

Do you ever get the feeling that your child doesn't like you? Well, I do. I know my son loves me, but I dont think he likes me very much.

He went to his grandmother's house yesterday afternoon...and he is still there! I have gone over there, trying to take him home, but he wont come home.

He cries and screams that he wants to stay. If he didn't see his grandparents very often, I would understand. But he sees them almost every day!

What makes this so sad to me is the fact that he is only two years old!

Does my child hate me, or is he just tired of seeing me all day? Either way, I miss my baby!
